THE ANOINTING BREAKS THE YOKE
ZAMO MAJOLA  (Prophet)

Monday, April, 18, 2016

It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil (Isaiah 10:27).

The historical background of the anointing in the ancient Jews and Hebrews, oil was used mostly by shepherds as a special antidote of protecting the sheep from the insects. Insects would go through the sheep-wool straight to the ears and kill the sheep. So by means of protection, they would pour oil on the sheep's head so that when the insects come they would get stuck on the wool and die.

From this premise the prophets used the anointing oil as a symbol of blessing, protection, ordination for service, healing and empowerment (2 Kings 9:1-3). In essence, the oil is just a symbol of the power of the Holy Spirit that operates through prophetic grace. The anointing oil is not just an ordinary oil that is prayed for and blessed by the prophet. It is the selected and most expensive oil made out of the purely selected raw materials (Ex.30:22-29).

The oil itself cannot do anything but the anointing of the Holy Spirit that rests upon the hands of the prophets activates the oil to break the yoke of bandage and remove every form of burdens. The day that Prophet Isaiah speaks about in our opening scripture  is the day when the Messiah sits in the throne of grace just like He is today; in His capacity He removes the burden from people's shoulders and break the yoke from their necks. You don't need money to be rich, you need the anointing as a child of God. Every form of yoke related to poverty that causes stagnation will be immediately broken.

PRAYER

O Lord my God, release your anointing upon me now. I am tired of suffering; I am tired of stagnation; I am tired of poverty and its related spirits. Remove every form of burden concerning my life. Destroy every yoke in my neck concerning my success and prosperity in life in Jesus' name. Amen.
